INDIANA AND DAYTON GO 2-0 IN 2016 FLORIDA SUNSHINE CLASSIC 

The Indiana Hoosiers defeated the Florida Gators, 102-88, in the feature game of the Classic while Dayton upset Texas A & M, 74-57, in the Classic's first upset. The Classic scores:

A & M 65; Syracuse 92 Old Dominion 66; Stony Brook 80 Florida A & M 49;

BAYLOR AND WEST VIRGINIA GO UNDEFEATED
IN THE 2015 FLORIDA SUNSHINE CLASSIC.

Kim Mulkey's nationally ranked Baylor Bears went 2-0 in the Classic defeating Miami 88-81 and James Madison 77-63. Coach Mike Carey's West Virginia team defeated James Madison 69-62 and Indiana 75-64. In the 5th game of the Classic, Miami beat Indiana 89-75.

BAYLOR WINS FIRST FLORIDA SUNSHINE CLASSIC FOR DIVISION I WOMEN

     Baylor University’s Lady Bears won the first Florida Sunshine Classic for Division I women with victories over Syracuse and Michigan State.

     Baylor beat Syracuse 74-72 on opening night and followed that with an 84-65 win over Michigan State despite trailing by 14 points at the half.
                              
     Nina Davis of Baylor was named the Outstanding Player of the tournament.

     Michigan State defeated Syracuse 89-76 to finish second in the 3-team field.
